This month we will be at the WORLD ARCHITECTURAL FESTIVAL with our most recent project N-House. The World Architecture Festival (WAF) will celebrate the work, concerns and aspirations of the international architectural community, during a large three-day event taking place in Barcelona, Spain from 22 to 24 October 2008.
We will have our project exhibited at the first annual World Architecture Festival in the Awards Entry Gallery (Category: Private Houses) together with some 700 entries from 63 countries worldwide. The gallery provides an opportunity to view global design trends while after the Festival all entries will be permanently available to view in a Directory on the WAF website.

Taking the Japanese Shinto tradition seriously the contractor for [N-House] organized a groundbreaking ceremony on August 31, but not before asking the “Kami” their blessing to demolish the existing house in a similar ceremony. In the meantime the construction works have progressed and the structure of the house is finished. At the moment works on the roofing are being completed.
